How often should a fire alarm be serviced?

BS 5839-1 recommends periodic inspection and servicing at regular intervals (commonly around every six months) plus a weekly user test. Your fire risk assessment may specify more.

Do you service addressable systems?

Yes u2014 addressable and larger systems are priced on survey because device numbers vary widely.

Will the alarm sound during the visit?

Sounders are tested briefly; we agree timings with you and put any ARC connection into test mode.
