An NICEIC electrical contractor and M&E partner since 2004
JKS London Ltd was set up in 2004 with a simple aim: to give organisations a contractor they can rely on to keep their buildings safe, compliant and working properly.
From our base at The Stables in Sidcup, Kent, we work with facilities managers, landlords, estates teams and operators across London and the South East. Our engineers carry out everything from periodic electrical inspection and testing to planned maintenance, installations, refurbishments and full facilities management.
Over more than two decades we have learned that clients rarely want “just” an electrician or “just” a maintenance contractor. They want a partner who understands their building, their obligations and their operation — and who takes ownership of the outcome. That is the kind of company we have set out to be.

Helping you meet your health and safety obligations
Every organisation that occupies, owns or manages a building carries legal duties — to its staff, its customers, its residents and the public. Electrical installations must be maintained so they do not cause danger, life-safety systems must work when they are needed, and records must prove it.
Our mission is to make sure our clients can address the health and safety of their own clients and employees while providing the most up-to-date facilities. As we put it:
“Our business is to understand the regulations, procedures and legislative requirements that you need to address.”
That means we do the technical reading so you do not have to. We keep up with changes to BS 7671 (the IET Wiring Regulations), British Standards for emergency lighting and fire detection, and wider legislation such as the Building Safety Act 2022 — then translate them into clear, practical actions for your estate.

Over the years we have delivered electrical testing, maintenance and installation work for organisations including The Restaurant Group, Public Health England, Bison Concrete, Furniture Hire UK, Inspired Villages Group, Southampton General Hospital, Beta Type Ltd and Vincent Estates Ltd, as well as projects at London train stations. We support commercial kitchens, restaurants and retail outlets at six major airports, from Southampton to East Midlands, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Stansted and Luton.
What these clients have in common is that their buildings must stay open, safe and compliant while work goes on around them. Airport concessions trade from early morning to late at night; retirement villages are people’s homes; hospitals and public buildings cannot simply close for the day. We plan access, isolations and noisy work carefully, communicate clearly with on-site teams and leave areas clean and safe at the end of every shift.

Approved, assessed and accountable
JKS London is an NICEIC approved contractor, which means our electrical work is regularly assessed against BS 7671 and the NICEIC scheme rules. We also hold health and safety accreditations recognised by facilities managers and procurement teams, including CHAS and SafeContractor, alongside other industry memberships.
For clients, these accreditations offer independent reassurance that our processes, competence and safety management have been checked by a third party — not just described in a tender response.
